Application for admission may be submitted after a student completes his/her junior year of high school. Students can complete an or submit a completed paper application to SVSU's Office of Undergraduate Admissions and have their high school counselor send us their high school transcripts. An ACT or SAT score is required. Final admission is dependent on review of final high school transcript with posted graduation date.

Saginaw Valley State University, founded in 1963, is a public, comprehensive university. Its 782-acre campus is located in University Center, MI, 35 miles north of Flint.
